Welcome to Trans Globe Express. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the transportation, freight forwarding, logistics, import, export, vehicle shipping, yacht shipping, air freight, ocean freight, project cargo, and related services provided by Trans Globe Express (“Trans Globe Express,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using our website, requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Trans Globe Express provides freight forwarding, transportation coordination, logistics, and related services for domestic and international shipments.
Depending on the shipment, transportation may be performed by independent third-party carriers, ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, terminals, customs brokers, agents, or other service providers.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Trans Globe Express does not guarantee any particular carrier, vessel, aircraft, route, schedule, transit time, or delivery date.
All quotations are based on information provided by the customer and on rates, charges, exchange rates, fuel costs, surcharges, duties, taxes, and other conditions available at the time the quotation is issued.
Quotes may be subject to change due to changes in shipment dimensions or weight, carrier rates, fuel surcharges, port or terminal charges, customs requirements, governmental fees, storage, demurrage, detention, inspections, re-delivery, special handling, or other charges beyond our control.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, a quotation does not include customs duties, taxes, inspections, storage, demurrage, detention, insurance, or other third-party charges.
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipment information, including the nature, quantity, weight, dimensions, value, origin, destination, and any special characteristics of the cargo.
The customer must disclose hazardous, dangerous, restricted, oversized, high-value, or otherwise regulated cargo before booking.
The customer is responsible for providing all documentation required for transportation, export, import, customs clearance, or governmental compliance.
The customer represents that it has the legal right and authority to ship the goods tendered to Trans Globe Express.
Trans Globe Express reserves the right to refuse any shipment that is illegal, unsafe, improperly packaged, incorrectly declared, prohibited by a carrier or governmental authority, or otherwise unsuitable for transportation.
Hazardous materials, dangerous goods, firearms, controlled substances, perishable goods, high-value cargo, and other regulated commodities may require prior written approval and additional documentation.
Trans Globe Express may arrange services through independent carriers and other third-party providers.
Such services may be subject to the carrier’s or provider’s own bills of lading, tariffs, contracts, rules, liability limitations, and terms and conditions.
Trans Globe Express is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent third parties except to the extent liability is imposed upon Trans Globe Express by applicable law or an applicable written transportation contract.
Pickup, departure, arrival, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Trans Globe Express shall not be responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including weather, mechanical failures, carrier schedule changes, port congestion, customs inspections, government actions, strikes, labor disruptions, war, civil unrest, natural disasters, equipment shortages, road closures, or other force majeure events.
Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless expressly stated in writing.
Customers are encouraged to obtain appropriate cargo insurance for the full value of their shipment.
If Trans Globe Express assists in arranging cargo insurance, coverage will be subject to the applicable insurer’s policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits.
Any loss, damage, shortage, or delay claim must be reported promptly in writing and must comply with the time limits and procedures established by applicable law, the relevant carrier’s bill of lading, tariff, insurance policy, or other governing transportation document.
Customers should inspect cargo promptly upon delivery and document any visible loss or damage before accepting delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Liability for cargo loss, damage, or delay may be limited by applicable law, treaties, tariffs, bills of lading, carrier terms, or other transportation documents.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information and documentation necessary for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
Trans Globe Express may assist with customs-related services directly or through licensed third parties where permitted, but does not guarantee customs clearance or acceptance of any shipment by governmental authorities.
Duties, taxes, penalties, examinations, inspections, storage charges, and other governmental or third-party expenses are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Customers shipping vehicles, yachts, machinery, project cargo, or other specialized cargo must provide accurate dimensions, weight, condition, ownership information, and documentation.
Personal property placed inside vehicles, vessels, machinery, containers, or other cargo may not be covered by carrier liability or cargo insurance unless specifically declared and accepted in writing.
Additional requirements may apply to oversized, overweight, high-value, non-running, modified, or specialized cargo.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all freight charges and other amounts due must be paid according to the payment terms stated on the applicable invoice, quotation, or shipping document.
The customer remains responsible for additional charges incurred in connection with the shipment, including carrier adjustments, storage, demurrage, detention, inspections, customs charges, re-delivery, waiting time, and other expenses attributable to the shipment.
Trans Globe Express reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to withhold documents, cargo, or services for unpaid amounts.
Cancellation charges may apply after a shipment has been booked or transportation arrangements have been made.
The customer is responsible for cancellation fees, carrier penalties, equipment charges, storage, documentation fees, or other expenses already incurred on the customer’s behalf.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trans Globe Express shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss of market.
Any liability relating to transportation services shall be subject to applicable federal or state law, international conventions, tariffs, bills of lading, carrier terms, and other governing transportation documents.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any right, defense, exemption, or limitation of liability available to Trans Globe Express under applicable law.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Trans Globe Express, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, penalties, fines, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from inaccurate shipment information, improper packaging, prohibited or undeclared cargo, violation of applicable laws, or breach of these Terms by the customer.
